Animating Cherry Blossom Petals? D=

So i want a cherry blossom animation sorta thing, but i dont like the one that everyone uses so very very frequently.

Does anyone know how i can animate cherry blossom petals falling down in either photoshop/flash?

I've given the .gif version of that to her already. Jacqui is trying to animate a part of an anime, and it includes a shower of cherry blossoms.

I mean you could always use the effect in multiple layers going in different directions or not overlapping each other.
That way, it seems more like a bunch of them.
