Blurry Backgrounds in Sony Vegas

Well yesterday I started making real animations with Sony Vegas, but then when I tried to put a background in the timeline, It was really blurry when I zoomed in. Anyone know how to fix it?

That happens when the background is too small. Sony Vegas can't do magic. If you zoom in too much, the details will of course get distorted. Just get a bigger background.

Don't you mean small? If the magnification of the image increases, then the resolution will decrease, so if he had a big background, that wouldn't happen.

get a bigger map. if you're tryin the maple maps, try those huge town ones. you can zoom in alot and still look nice.

*nods nods* you need HQ backgrounds, try upscaling them in photoshop, but be sure to choose "nearest neighbor" when resizing instead of "bicubic"
